Is Leawood still affordable?

So, My partner and I are With a population of 33,844, Leawood is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,753/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What are your go-to spots? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
