Moving to Leawood for work -advice?

Hey everyone, Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Pittsburgh it's excellent.
