Worst things about Lebanon nobody talks about

Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $257,100, which seems about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Worth the trade-offs? TIA! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in East. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
