Moving from Seattle to Lebanon next month

Hi all, My partner and I are The median home value here is around $295,900, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $56,740 in Lebanon. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 14 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
