Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $143,200 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I overthinking this? Thanks! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in West. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Italian.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The public transit is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
