Moving to Lebanon for work -advice?

Hey, I'm retired and Median household income is $47,439, which feels on the lower side for the area. Household incomes average around $47,439 in Lebanon. Crime rate is something to consider -Lebanon sits at 250.4 per 100K. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Appreciate any input. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Oak Park area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
