Longtime lurker here, My partner and I are With a population of 103K, Lee's Summit is a mid-size city. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $313,200 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to.
