Should I move to Lee's Summit or stay in Los Angeles?

Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from Los Angeles and The median home value here is around $313,200, which seems about average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Came here for weather and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The nightlife is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely decent and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (South) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
