Leesburg is underrated, change my mind

So, Military spouse here. Household incomes average around $47,506 in Leesburg. With a population of 28,461, Leesburg is a smaller city. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in The Heights. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in government. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Thai.

No regrets on my end..
