Longtime lurker here, The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $125,860 in Lehi. Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $125,860, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cheers.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Cedar Grove. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Indian.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Atlanta about 11 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are affordable, gas is underrated.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.
