Curious what people think. Median household income is $125,860, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 81,039, Lehi is a smaller city. OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a marketing manager, 48, moved here 4 years ago from San Francisco. I've lived in Pine Hills and Riverside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Cost of living is very reasonable
2. Lots of new development happening
3. Close to major attractions
4. The people are generally improving - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Traffic during rush hour is rough
2. Chain restaurants dominate
3. The cultural scene situation is wild and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Pine Hills: Great for families. pretty good vibes, walkable.
- Riverside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from San Francisco, everything felt solid. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is reasonable. You can live comfortably on $70K-$140K here.

**Final verdict:**
Definitely worth checking out.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely challenging and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Highland) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Tampa, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I work in tech here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is better than expected. No regrets on my end..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Lots of new development happening
- The public transit scene is improving

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. No regrets on my end..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Austin it's solid.
