Is Lehi walkable?

Random thought, Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I work in marketing here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is average. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'm a writer and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is excellent and there's always something going on.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in East for 9 years. Moved from Denver for retirement. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is solid. We bought in 2021 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
tech is strong here. retail is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is solid - we have lakes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. East schools are solid. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not very walkable outside downtown. Limited entertainment options. And cultural scene can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For retirees, I'd say this is a 7/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much developing but now it's tough.
