Life in Lehi as a young professional

Moved here 7 years ago for work. Lehi has a solid community for young professionals. Income levels are solid here — median is around $125,860. Rent runs about $1,798/month for a typical apartment. The social scene is hit or miss depending on the area. Would I recommend it? For the right person, definitely..

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, it really depends on your lifestyle.

Don't sleep on Cedar Hills. It's up and coming and still affordable.

I work in education and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 3 months.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Riverside and Pine Grove are perfectly safe.

Rent tip: look for places in January-February. Prices drop and there's more availability.

As someone who moved here from Miami, I can confirm most of this. The job opportunities surprised me the most.

Coming from Houston, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.

Check out the Eastside area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Good summary. I'd rate it higher personally — maybe 6/10.
