Rent vs buy in Lehi -what makes sense?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a 45-year-old accountant and The median home value here is around $567,100, which is pretty steep. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Came here for retirement and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The school system is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
