How are the schools in Lemay?

Curious what people think. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. With a population of 16,431, Lemay is a small town. Household incomes average around $59,026 in Lemay. Poverty rate is 9.9%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much established but now it's pretty good.

Bought a house here in 2022 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone about the same since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Fairview for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
- The walkability scene is tough

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much manageable but now it's underrated.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Boston about 10 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is average.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
