Hey everyone, I work in logistics and The median home value here is around $79,700, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $631/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $631 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Riverside area are improving. Kids love it here.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good airport with direct flights
- The healthcare scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The cost of living is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..
