Lemon Grove in the winter -how bad?

Hey folks, Poverty rate is 7.3%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,489 people. Household incomes average around $79,278 in Lemon Grove. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Old Town for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- The dating scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Phoenix it's tough.
