Best and worst neighborhoods in Lemoore

I'm a 36-year-old marketing manager and Crime rate is something to consider -Lemoore sits at 471.4 per 100K. Rent is about $1,394/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $319,200 on average. Median household income is $82,189, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thanks for reading. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a sales manager, 32, moved here 2 years ago from LA. I've lived in Pine Hills and Maple Ridge, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas
2. Diverse dining options
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally hit or miss - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Not a lot of cultural diversity
2. Road conditions need improvement
3. The safety situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Pine Hills: Great for families. challenging vibes, walkable.
- Maple Ridge: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from LA, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are growing. Gas is growing. You can live comfortably on $90K-$120K here.

**Final verdict:**
It's not for everyone but it works for us.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
