Is Lemoore good for remote workers?

OK so Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is solid in most areas.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely better than expected and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from LA, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Greenfield for 9 years. Moved from Baltimore for weather. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2023 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
manufacturing is strong here. real estate is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor scene is underrated - we have biking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Greenfield schools are average. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Winters are long and cold. And traffic can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 8/10. Would recommend to anyone considering it.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The nightlife is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value pet-friendliness, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely decent and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Uptown) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Old Town. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in real estate. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Downtown for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
- The dating scene scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Uptown. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in consulting. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
