Anyone work in healthcare in Lenexa?

Random thought, Just moved here 5 months ago and Homes are going for about $368,800 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Lenexa sits at 154.7 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 57,986 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

I'm a nurse and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.
