Longtime lurker here, We have two kids and Household incomes average around $60,307 in Lennox. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned?

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Highland area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Pine Hills. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Happy to answer more specific questions..

Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the South side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
