Biggest downsides of living in Lenoir?

First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $48,889, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 18,282 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
