Leominster housing prices -when will it stop?

Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $81,556, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $345,000, which seems about average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any help is appreciated. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Old Town for 7 years. Moved from San Diego for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is decent. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.

**Employment:**
retail is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are affordable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is solid - we have hiking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Old Town schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Traffic during rush hour is rough. Rising rent and home prices. And outdoor recreation can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 7/10. Would recommend to anyone considering it.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
