Just moved to Levittown, any tips?

Hey, I'm single, late 30s, and Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a smaller city city with about 51,557 people. Poverty rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $139,696 in Levittown. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Austin it's hit or miss.

Used to live on the Oak Park side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 3 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.
