Alright, You can expect to pay around $1,501 for rent here. Any advice would be great. Cheers. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Portland about 3 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'm a social worker and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Old Town area are solid. Kids love it here.
