Dog-friendly places in Lewiston?

Hey everyone, I've been here for 8 years and It's a a smaller city city with about 37,886 people. Average temperature is around 46--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Lewiston sits at 298.3 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Has anyone dealt with this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Maple Ridge. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in construction. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is average in most areas.

Came here for work and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The traffic is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
