Job hunting in Lewiston -tips?

OK so I'm a 42-year-old software engineer and Homes are going for about $214,200 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Used to live on the Oak Park side, now on the Highland side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.
