Pros and cons of Lewisville after 13 years

Hey, My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $84,424, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 4.7%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $284,300, which seems about average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Sunset for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Diverse dining options
- The school system scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
