Best restaurants in Lewisville?

Longtime lurker here, Average temperature is around 68°F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider — Lewisville sits at 221.3 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 128K people. The median home value here is around $350,200, which seems about average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely challenging and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Uptown) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Salt Lake City, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
