Grocery stores in Lewisville — recommendations?

Alright, I've been here for 16 years and Homes are going for about $350,200 on average. With a population of 128K, Lewisville is a mid-size city. Average temperature is around 68°F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from LA about 15 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
