Curious what people think. I'm a college student here and With a population of 128K, Lewisville is a mid-size city. Poverty rate is 5.4%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? Thanks! There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.
I've been here 12 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
