Lexington-Fayette urban county is underrated, change my mind

I keep seeing people overlook Lexington-Fayette urban county when talking about great places to live. With a population of 321,122, it's big enough to have everything you need but small enough to feel like a community. The downtown area has been revitalized. Weather is moderate — about 57F average.

Don't sleep on University District. It's up and coming and still affordable.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

Rent tip: look for places in January-February. Prices drop and there's more availability.
