Been meaning to ask this. I'm originally from Albuquerque and Household incomes average around $67,631 in Lexington-Fayette urban county. It's a a mid-size city city with about 321K people. Poverty rate is 9.4%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
