So, Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $59,821 in Lexington. You can expect to pay around $1,071 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any help is appreciated. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I've lived in Highland for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Good schools in most areas

- Active local events and festivals

- The job market scene is solid

The downsides:

- Traffic during rush hour is rough

- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..
