First post here. My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Liberal sits at 380.0 per 100K. The median home value here is around $134,500, which is actually reasonable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Appreciate any input. The city has invested a lot in new development. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value walkability, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely solid and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (West) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Bugs and humidity in summer.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.
