Best apartments in Liberal under ?

First post here. My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Liberal sits at 380.0 per 100K. The median home value here is around $134,500, which is actually reasonable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Appreciate any input. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely solid and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (West) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Bugs and humidity in summer.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The outdoor recreation is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely tough and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The traffic is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..
