Housing market in Liberty right now

Been meaning to ask this. I'm originally from Memphis and The median home value here is around $267,900, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $95,425 in Liberty. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- The traffic scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value pet-friendliness, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Springfield) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've lived in Highland for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- The outdoor recreation scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Raleigh about 11 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is improving.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..
