Hi all, My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $1,789/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 4.4%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up.
