The good and bad of living in Liberty
Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 14 months ago and The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $52,341 in Liberty. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Is this normal for Liberty? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
