Best coffee shops in Libertyville?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 13 months ago and Household incomes average around $162,270 in Libertyville. You can expect to pay around $1,537 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 15 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Old Town side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely excellent and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Old Town) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
