Hello, My family moved here when I was a kid. With a population of 1,562, Ligonier is a small town. Rent is about $777/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 1,562 people. Median household income is $74,420, which feels about average for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Anyone in a similar situation? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
