The good and bad of living in Lima
Curious what people think. Just moved here 12 months ago and The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. Household incomes average around $43,370 in Lima. Median household income is $43,370, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 21.2%, which is higher than I expected. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
