Why I chose Lima over bigger cities
First post here. You can expect to pay around $865 for rent here. Rent is about $865/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $43,370 in Lima. It's a a smaller city city with about 35,304 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
