Hello, I'm originally from Orlando and Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from New York about 7 years ago. The main reasons were weather and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Happy to answer more specific questions..

- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. No regrets on my end..
