Co-working spaces in Lincoln?

Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $108,108, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What are your go-to spots?

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much growing but now it's excellent.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely average and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Springfield) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from San Diego, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Can feel isolated.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

Came here for work and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The dating scene is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much manageable but now it's tough.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Pine Hills for 1 years. Moved from Salt Lake City for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is tough. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals.

**Employment:**
government is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor scene is tough - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Pine Hills schools are better than expected. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not a lot of cultural diversity. Can feel isolated. And weather can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For retirees, I'd say this is a 7/10. Happy to answer more specific questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Houston about 2 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are manageable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Sunset. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in education. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Thai.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
