Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 6.2%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cheers. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I work in consulting here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is solid. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I work in hospitality here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is underrated. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Boston about 11 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Definitely worth checking out..
