Day-to-day life in Lincoln City, OR

First post here. Born and raised here. It's a a small town city with about 9,890 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The pet-friendliness is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
