Alright, I'm retired and Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 9,890, Lincoln City is a small town. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Dallas about 9 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are pricey, gas is pretty good.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 9 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
