Rent prices in Lincoln getting crazy

Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Lincoln? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $1045 for a 2BR which feels okay for the area.

Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

I work in healthcare and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 3 months.

As someone who moved here from Atlanta, I can confirm most of this. The job opportunities surprised me the most.

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

Rent tip: look for places in winter. Prices drop and there's more availability.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is the west side tends to be more affordable. Makes a big difference.
