Affordable areas near Lincoln Park?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and Rent is about $1,824/month for a decent place. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much competitive but now it's solid.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is average in most areas.
