Best neighborhoods in Lincolnton

The median home value here is around $224,600, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 15.7%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $920/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Limited nightlife
- Not very walkable
- Poor road conditions

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The public transit is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..
